'All of dem don get alert' - Reactions as photos of PEPT Justices emerge on social media

The five judges who will be delivering judgment at the PEPT

Nigerians on social media have been reacting to the emergence of photos of Justices slated to deliver judgment at the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal.

With judgment scheduled to be announced on Wednesday, September 6 (today), the photos of the five-man panel of justices have been named.

They are: Justice Haruna Tsammani – Chief Registrar of the Court of Appeal, Justice Stephen Adah – Court of Appeal (Asaba division), Justice Monsurat Bolaji-Yusuf – Court of Appeal (Asaba Division), Justice Moses Ugo – Kano division and Justice Abba Mohammed – Ibadan Court of Appeal.

Recall that five political parties Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), Action Peoples Party (APP), Allied Peoples Movement (APM) and the Action Alliance (AA), filed a suit challenging the emergence of Bola Tinubu as winner of the February 25, 2023, presidential election.

The Nation reports that the sitting of the five-man panel of justices is headed by the presiding justice, Justice Haruna Tsammani.

Meanwhile, supporters of opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the Labour Party, LP, have been urged to eschew violence and remain calm.

DAILY POST reports that there are insinuations that the LP supporters and their counterparts in the PDP are planning to stage a protest if the judgment is made in favour of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
