After a protracted hiatus from social media, former Big Brother Naija housemate Alex Asogwa widely known as Alex Unusual has spoken up in response to claims that she was having an affair with comedian, AY Makun.

Shortly after Mabel and AY's divorce became known, several alarming voice recordings were leaked on social media.

According to the tapes, Alex Unusual was one of AY's several mistresses and is even expecting a child with the comedian.

Alex Unusual had earlier stepped away from social media and hadn't responded to the charges before this. She recently made and released a little video explaining why she removed all of her social media accounts from her devices, which caught a lot of people off guard.

She said she had been feeling pressured all the time to play the nice and keep quiet, but that she now wanted to break that pattern by speaking up.

While avoiding a direct response to the accusations, Alex gently disputed their veracity by citing Nigeria's cybersecurity legislation.

She emphasized to her online followers that she is a real person with emotions and that she is affected by what they say.

Alex Unusual also promised to let the legal system deal with individuals who continue to attack her online.
