Kenny Okolugbo, a Communications and Strategy Consultant in the Office of the Senate President has issued a disclaimer that his X account was hacked.

In the early hours of this morning, posts emerged from Okolugbo's official account stating that the ordeal of the Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan was planned by the former Akwa Ibom State Governor.

He said, "I wish to use this Sallah period as an avenue to sincerely apologise to my Boss for forgiveness and to inform Nigerians that I have been an integral part of the plans orchestrated by Senator Godswill Akpabio and his cohorts to frame up Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. This deceptive plot can be traced to our meetings in London with Sandra Duru, manipulation of Senator Natasha's voice recordings to discredit her as well as the hacking and cloning of Senator Natasha's phones.

"All these were carefully calculated and desperate attempts to discredit Senator Natasha and tarnish her image. Having reviewed the ugly development and for posterity sake, it's incumbent on me to unveil, to Nigerians how far and deep certain people with political power can go.

"I pray that the distinguished Senator Natasha will have a place in her heart to forgive me. May Allah have mercy on me. I wish you Happy Sallah celebrations. #truth #forgiveness #senatorakpabio."

Hours later, Okolugbo denied he made the post.

He said, "My Twitter account has been hacked please disclaim anything that was sent Liborous Oshoma just called my attention to it. How desperate can this people be I am making a video right now."

He also made a video totally dissociating himself from the post....

He said, "I was woken up this morning by my friend Liborous Oshoma and I was quite surprised my attention was called to a tweet that has been circulating round on twitter and he said please quickly check your account, maybe it has been hacked and to my shocker I opened my twitter account to see the post. This is obviously from the pit of hell. How will I ask Senator Natasha to forgive me for a case I have held on very very strongly that she lied on Senator Godswill Akpabio. For a case not only have I been involved but I am a Consultant on Communications and Strategy to the Senate President. The details that are unfolding will shock a lot of Nigerians. This tweet is not from me and we are waiting to find out the desperation that could have led someone into sending out a tweet purporting it to be from Kenny Okolugbo. I totally condemn it and I dsiclaim it and I am telling Nigerians this is an act of desperation.
