Akin Alabi’s ‘Delivery Men 2’ explores faith, healing

Veteran video director, Akin Alabi, has unveiled a new “spiritual thriller” titled, ‘Delivery Men 2’, bringing years of filmmaking experience and storytelling expertise to the project.

The film, which was released on YouTube, explores themes of faith, emotional healing and spiritual warfare, while offering viewers an intense and reflective narrative.

A statement shared with Saturday Beats read, “Delivery Men 2 tells the story of Tracy, a woman who has long yearned for the joy of motherhood after years of trying to conceive. Her hope is reignited when she receives a mysterious prophetic letter promising that the child she has prayed for will finally come. However, unseen spiritual forces begin to stand in the way of the miracle she believes heaven has already granted.

“As the story unfolds through dreams, revelations and tense confrontations, Tracy begins to realise that the greatest battles in her life may not be external. Instead, she must confront deep emotional wounds, unresolved anger and the burden of unforgiveness that she has unknowingly allowed to shape her life.”

It added that the film follows Tracy on a journey of emotional restoration and spiritual awakening, as she seeks healing from past hurts while fighting to reclaim the promise she believes is destined for her. Through the process, she discovers that sometimes the fiercest battles are not against external forces but against the things people permit to remain in their lives.

Gospel artiste, Psalmos, leads the cast in the role of Tracy. The film also features a lineup of well-known Christian actors including Victor Olukoju, Kayode Owojuni, Ayomide Aina, Seyi Obembe and Adeola Salako.

The statement added that the film, which is written and directed by Alabi, will be taken to cinemas across Nigeria in the near future.
