Aisha Buhari says the coronavirus is a sign that God is not happy with mankind

Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari has said the pandemic is a sign that God is not happy with mankind.

Aisha made the statement on Friday, September 25, at the national mosque in Abuja, The Cable reported.

She told the audience at the 60th independence day public lecture and special Juma’at prayer held at the mosque that Nigerians should pray to God for the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The First Lady said:

“The world is no longer the same as a result of the pandemic and the pandemic is a sign that almighty God is not happy with us.“We need to pray for forgiveness. I think we have no choice than to continue asking for forgiveness from Almighty Allah.”The Daily Trust newspaper also reported that Aisha at the occasion urged leaders to always ensure justice to all.

She said the president needs the support and cooperation of all Nigerians to fulfil his change mantra.
