Air Peace, Nigeria’s largest commercial airline, is looking for qualified Nigerians to join its workforce.
The latest recruitment drive comes following the recent addition of new international and domestic routes.
The airline, in a post on LinkedIn, said the latest job vacancies are for two senior positions in its Engineering and Maintenance Department: Head of Maintenance and Manager, Technical Store. Both roles will be based at the carrier’s Lagos headquarters.
Details about the new job vacancies
According to Air Peace for the Head of Maintenance will be tasked with overseeing all aircraft maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) documentation, aviation authority regulations, and the company’s internal safety policies.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the fleet achieves high technical reliability, with specific performance targets of 98% technical dispatch reliability and 90% aircraft availability.
Applicants for the position must possess at least 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including three years in leadership or supervisory roles.
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License with Airframe and Powerplant ratings is required, alongside a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or aeronautical engineering.
Manager, Technical Store role
For the Manager, Technical Store role, Air Peace is seeking candidates with strong warehouse management expertise to oversee spare parts inventory and logistics for the airline’s expanding fleet.
The role involves round-the-clock operational support, quality control, stock reconciliation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Applicants must have at least 10 years of experience in a technical stores environment, preferably within the aviation industry, with a minimum of four years at a managerial level.
A degree or higher diploma in a relevant field is required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
The airline emphasised that both roles demand strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to foster collaboration across departments, including maintenance, procurement, logistics, and regulatory compliance teams.
