Paul Ibe, an aide to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, has dismissed claims that his principal snubbed former Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo.
The claim was made on X by a user with the handle @NnaemekaEdeh1
The X user narrated, "Kenneth Okonkwo at the crossroads as Atiku Abubakar snubs him in a crucial meeting. Atiku Abubakar was mindful of what he was doing, just this past week he held a close door meeting with some of his media sides. Bolaji Abdullahi, Dele Momodu, Dino Melaye, & media assistant Paul Ibe. Senator Ben Obi & some others were invited as observers as they are close allies to AA. Kenneth Okonkwo heard about it & decided to attend without an invite. He gained access to AA residents at Asokoro, but was denied access to a particular office where the meeting was going on. He decided to reach out to Paul Ibe by texting him. Mr. Ibe replied him immediately but Kenneth Okonkwo wouldn't take the reply as he burst out that he can't betray his brother Peter Obi only to be sidelined this way. This infuriated AA & he told Paul Ibe to go to handle Kenneth Okonkwo.
"Meanwhile, Kenneth was fuming but Paul Ibe reminded quietly that he was the person that sought for AA by pleading to work for him since PO is not ready to spend money your way. It took the intervention of some sides before AA accepted into his fold. This made Kenneth
"Okonkwo to shrunk. Kenneth Okonkwo melted immediately, the same way Peter denied master Jesus three times before the rooster crow. Kenneth Okonkwo is seeking damage control by reaching out to Dele Momodu. Atiku Abubakar wasn't happy with Kenneth Okonkwo because of the unprintable."
Reacting, Atiku's aide described the report as fake news.
He shared on X, "This is a cocktail of fake news. Atiku Abubakar has never snubbed Kenneth Okonkwo. Indeed, he holds him in high esteem. What you described as a closed-door meeting is contrived. There was never a meeting with the aforementioned persons in which Okonkwo was shut out. For your information my humble self (Paul Ibe), mentioned in the fictional meeting was never a part of such a meeting and is not Atiku’s media assistant, but his Media Adviser and Coordinator of the Atiku Media Office (AMO)."
