Again, Reno Omokri attacks Rufai Oseni, Arise TV

A leading member of the People Democratic Party (PDP), Reno Omokri has launched several attacks on Rufai Oseni, a co-host on Arise Television's Morning Show.

Omokri and Oseni have been in the news over this issue, which formed a major part of the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

In his latest post on Omokri described Rufai as "a liar, fronting for a dishonest television station."

Omokri's latest rant comes after the Chicago State University testified in court that President Bola Tinubu attended the institution between 1977 to 1979, graduating with honors.

"Mr. Bola Tinubu graduated with honors. It is a Grade Point Average distinction awarded to high-performing students....Materials in Mr. Tinubu’s records show that he is male. I see the application to Chicago State University. Mr. Tinubu identified himself as male. His letter of admission identified him as male."-Direct quote from Chicago State University's Sworn testimony. Irolabi Gbajuelomolatile, AKA Rufai Oseni, and Arisetvnews, where did you get the lie that Chicago State University denied Tinubu?" Reno Omokri said in one post.

Oseni is alleged to have stirred the hornet's nest when he claimed on Tuesday, November 22, 2022, that Chicago State University was hit with a subpoena, and based on that document, they disclaimed Bola Tinubu’s academic records.

Oseni's claims came three months before the presidential election.

While CSU has confirmed the President was an ex-student of the institution, Omokri is challenging Oseni to “correct the non-factual statement made and passed off as news to the Nigerian public”.

Oseni has refrained from making further comments on the issue.
