Ahead of the official start of the campaign on Wednesday, September 28, Dr. Jeffrey Guterman, a retired mental health counselor has once again urged Nigerians to vote for the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi.

Dr. Guterman who is an ardent supporter of the former Anambra governor made this known in response to a tweet by Peter Obi.

He wrote: "Please urge everyone you know to vote for Peter Obi. #PeterObiForPresident"

While Dr. Guterman's interest in Nigeria's political landscape is still unknown, he has consistently supported the candidacy of Peter Obi while thrashing Atiku Abubakar and Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the Peoples Democratic Party and All Progressives Congress respectively.

Quiet recently, he clashed with the Minister of State for Labour and Employment and the Spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo.

The exchange started when Dr. Jeffrey Guterman solicited help from his followers on Twitter.

He tweeted: "If you appreciate my Twitter account, please consider making a donation, even a small one: I am using donations for my severe financial problems. Thank you."

In reaction, Keyamo who quoted the tweet replied. “My friend #JeffreyGuterman, you should have said this from the word go that you needed financial help, hence your interest in our internal affairs to attract some patronage from supporters here. I am sorry to hear about your financial needs and I wish you well. Goodluck.”
