Dino Melaye, the spokesperson for the Atiku/Okowa campaign has once again lashed at the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu over the drug-related past.

He made this known in a post via a video on his Instagram page on Tuesday, March 28.

With the inauguration of the president-elect set for May 29, Dino, a former Kogi Central Senator called on the judiciary not to fall for the demands on the ruling government.

He further questioned why President Buhari who as Head of State executed three druglord in 1985 would want to hand over power to someone who is alleged to have been linked to the same crime.

Recall that Tinubu has been linked to drug-related offenses after forfeiting his funds to the US government over a drug trafficking allegation

SaharaReporters had reported how court papers from the US linked Tinubu to a drug trafficking case and his eventual forfeiture of the sum of $460,000 to the American government.

The former Lagos governor was declared the winner of the February 25 presidential elections after being declared the winner of elections by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

"I am here to emphasize that Bola Ahmed Tinubu can't be our president and I also want to call on the judiciary that it can't create a president for the Federal Republic of Nigeria. A president will only be created through electioneering processes. And anyone who will be president must be voted by the population."

"A drug baron, a certified drug baron can't be president of this country. I use this opportunity to call on President Muhammadu Buhari whose government in 1985 sentenced three people to death will not hand over power to a drug baron."

"A Pablo, an Escobar Pablo can never be the president of Nigeria."
