Popular Gen Z and beauty influencer Enioluwa Adeoluwa is overflowing with pride as he celebrates his mother, Dr. Bola Adeoluwa, who has just earned her PhD.

Sharing the inspiring story on social media, Enioluwa revealed that his mum’s academic journey was anything but ordinary.

Despite already being a successful businesswoman, she made the bold decision to return to school at age 45, rewriting both WAEC and JAMB just to meet the requirements for a new degree, all because she had failed Mathematics.

According to him, while his father, a professor, often got the spotlight for academic excellence, his mother was the quiet strength behind their success, the one who encouraged debates, attended every school event, and nurtured their dreams with quiet consistency.

“Everyone knows my dad as the academic,” he wrote.

“But my mum has always been the one teaching us resilience, perseverance, and strength. And now, she’s done it again — she’s officially Dr. Bola Adeoluwa.”

Now standing tall with two first degrees, two master’s, a PGD, and a PhD, Dr. Adeoluwa’s story has warmed hearts across social media, serving as a reminder that it’s never too late to chase your dreams and that motherhood doesn’t end personal ambition, it simply refines it.
