Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has said convicted terrorist Nnamdi Kanu cried like a human after he was sentenced to life imprisonment by a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Kanu was sentenced by Justice James Omotosho, who found him guilty of all seven-count charges brought against him by the Department of State Services (DSS).

This was after his Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) staged several terror activities in the Southeast in a bid to secede the region from Nigeria.

Reacting, Omokri wrote on Facebook, "He cried. Today, We Saw The Human Side of Nnamdi Kanu. Quite Touching! May God's Help Him Through His Difficult Times!"

Same Kanu, who cried like a human, according to Omokri, had claimed in an audio that he could play the role of God.

He also said he could decide who lives or dies, describing himself as a very powerful man with millions under his command.

The audio must have been an excerpt of his numerous broadcasts on his pirate radio station, Radio Biafra.

He said, "As the leader of IPOB, I'm a very powerful man. I know that very well. I can decide who lives or who dies. I can decide to play God if I want to.

"I have over two million men under my command. I can destroy anywhere I want to have destroyed."
