Adesina continues to receive support from Africa. This time, it's from Sierra Leone

President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adesina has continued to receive support from several Africa nations despite the decision of the bank to probe him for ethical misconduct.

Today, the President of Sierra Leone, President Julius Bio assured him of support in his present position as AfDB President.

A truly overwhelmed Adesina was appreciative of the efforts.

He had this to say in response:

Recall that Adesina has been accused of breaching the bank’s code of ethics.

The allegations include various cases of alleged breaches of the code of conduct, unethical conduct, private gain, an impediment to efficiency, preferential treatment, and involvement in political activity, all affecting confidence in the integrity of the bank, according to U.S Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin.

In a recent report, the bank denied reports that Akinwumi Adesina, President of the bank has been asked to resign.

More recently, prominent Nigerians like Peter Obi, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Obasanjo and the Federal Government of the West African nation stepped up to his defence, dismantling every allegation against him as false.
