Ademola Adeleke makes history in Osun as PDP wins all Senate, State of Assembly, House of Rep seats

Governor Ademola Adeleke has been reported to have made history in the 2023 elections after delivering all the seats in the just ended elections.

According to reports, his political party, the Peoples Democratic Party won all the 26 Osun State House of Assembly seats, all the representatives of the National Assembly seats and the Senates.

This comes after he beat his contender Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress to win the governorship election.

He has since received praises from Nigerians as they express optimism that he will deliver on his promises.

However, some worry that Adeleke might not be the seating Governor for much longer as the immediate past governor was declared the winner of the Osun state governorship election held on July 16, 2022.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC announced Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as the winner of the governorship election with 403, 271 votes and Gboyega who was seeking re-election scored 375, 027 votes.

After losing the election, Oyetola asked the tribunal to nullify the election results, citing over voting.

He also challenged the authenticity of the West African Examination Council (WAEC) certificate that Governor Adeleke presented among others.

Below are some reactions to Adeleke's victory.
