The Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has expressed deep sympathy to the family of Engr. Fidudusola, whose business was destroyed in a fire incident that occurred earlier today.
In a statement issued by his Spokesperson, Mallam Olawale Rasheed, the Governor described the inferno as a painful and unfortunate incident that has caused significant loss to the affected family, noting that the state government stands in solidarity with them during this difficult time.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the family and owners of the business affected by today’s fire outbreak. The loss is deeply regrettable, and we share in your pain. The government will explore appropriate avenues to provide necessary support within its capacity,” the Governor stated.
The Governor also commended the Osun State Fire Service, Federal Fire Service and other emergency responders for their swift and professional intervention, which helped to contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to nearby buildings and businesses.
“I appreciate the courage, dedication, and timely response of our firefighters whose efforts were instrumental in curtailing the inferno. Their commitment to duty undoubtedly saved lives and protected adjoining properties,” he added.
He further praised members of the public and community leaders who mobilised quickly to assist emergency responders, describing their collective effort as a testament to the spirit of unity and resilience among the people of Osun State.
The Governor urged residents to remain vigilant and to observe all safety precautions, particularly regarding electrical appliances and flammable materials, while assuring citizens of the government’s continued commitment to strengthening emergency response systems across the state.
The State Government reiterates its commitment to the safety and welfare of all residents and calls on the public to support ongoing efforts aimed at preventing similar incidents in the future.
