The father of Namtira Bwala, a young student of Lead British International School, Abuja who was bullied by her colleague has urged the school to take decisive action on the bullying incident.

In a video that has sparked outrage on social and traditional media, Bwala can be seen being bullied by her classmate, Maryam Hassan.

Namtira's dad made two demands before the Minister of Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohaneye.

According to him, his daughter can't remain in the same class with her bullies.

"I gave them 48 hours to take decisive action against the perpetrators of this act. That is the first one. Secondly, my daughter will not be in the same school and the same class with these children," he said.

Lead British International School has been shut down temporarily over the bullying incident.
