Abdulsamad Rabiu now Nigeria's 2nd richest billionaire as Mike Adenuga drops to 3rd

The founder and chairman of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu, is now Nigeria’s second richest person.

After his wealth rose from $5.3billion to $5.5 billion on Friday night, he took up the post.

This represents a 200 million wealth increase after only 8 hours of trading activities on the stock exchange.

Forbes statistics shows that Mike Adenuga, who started the week in second, is now the third with about $5.5 billion net worth to sit as the 432 richest man in the world.

However, Mike Adenuga has had a difficult 2022, as seen by dataq from Forbes, and his fortune has decreased by more than $1 billion.

He started the year with $6.6 billion and now is ranked 433rd in the world and third richest individual in Nigeria.

Aliko Dangote, who has a net worth of $12.4 billion, is still the richest person in Nigeria.

He lost nearly $7 million of his riches on Friday as his business fought to keep control of the largest cement facility in Africa.

Dangote Cement operates in 10 African nations and has a total yearly production capacity of 48.6 million metric tons.

It is anticipated that Dangote's wealth will increase further once his refinery is put into operation.
