Abdulrazaq mourns Kwara CAN chairman, Olawoore

The Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has commiserated with the Christian community on the death of the chairman of the state’s Christian Association of Nigeria, Most Reverend Paul Olawoore.

Olawoore, who is the Bishop of Ilorin Diocese of Catholic Church and CAN chairman, died in the early hours of Saturday at the age of 60.

A statement by the Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria, jointly signed by its National President, Patrick Obu; and General Secretary, Peter Dada, said that the death of Olawoore occurred suddenly.

The condolence statement read, “The President , the National Executive Council  and the members of the   Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria express their condolences to the Catholic Diocese of Ilorin, on the sudden death of Bishop Paul Olawoore.”
