APC supporters fire Dino Melaye for saying Nigerians queued to beg at Tinubu's house on Christmas Day

With less than 65 days to the presidential election in February, members of the various political parties have found it prudent to demarket their opponents.

While leading members of the political class take a go at each other regularly via traditional media and social media, the others beneath the political organogram have also found a way to market their candidates through the same mediums.

This post by Dino Melaye, the Spokesperson for the Presidential Council of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has also generated some reactions on social media.

"This video was on 24th December 2022 in front of Tinubu's house in Lagos. This is the type of energization of poverty that Tinubu wants to introduce to Nigeria. After so much noise and lies of turning Lagos around and making Lagos the sole factor of his campaign. See Lagos l beg. Na this kind thing go dey happen for Abuja if we vote this incapacitated man SDM," he wrote as the viral video of Nigerians queuing at the entrance of the home of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

larry99kk said: "They are party loyalist who went for their Xmas gift. Nothing wrong in it. Dinno how many people have you given Xmas gift ? It's a sign Tinubu is a man of the people. Most of this people are high way sweepers, party faithfuls at the grassroot. And that is why Tinubu remains a man to beat in politics. He is everywhere"
