Former deputy governor of Lagos state, Kofoworola Bucknor has described the All Progressives Congress APC, as a mafia organization.

According to the former journalist, everybody has been made to serve one man who makes all the decisions.

Expressing her displeasure at the happenings in the APC, she noted that it is very disgraceful to see people worshiping one man and paying dues to him.

Bucknor was the Lagos state deputy governor to Bola Tinubu from 1999 to 2003, who is now the current presidential candidate of the APC.

Speaking in an interview with Channels Television host, Seun Okinbaloye, she said;

"I think it’s very disgraceful what has happened in the APC. The whole ideal of the APC is that everybody should be serving one man and if you are not ready to serve that one man, then you are out. And that one man is the person who decides who is who and everybody has to worship him, everybody has to bring dues to him. it’s not a political party, it’s more like a mafia organization."

Although Bucknor mentioned no names, one could speculate that the person she was referring to was her former predecessor, Bola Tinubu who has been accused of being a drug lord.
