A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress party, Ogun State chapter, Mr Armstrong Akintunde, has condoled with Governor Dapo Abiodun over the demise of his father, Dr Emmanuel Abiodun.

The late educationist died on August 2, 2021, at the age of 89.

Akintunde in his condolence message on Monday described the deceased as an accomplished teacher who left behind a legacy that would be missed by the state and the nation as a whole.

The statement read, “I sincerely commiserate with our Governor, Dapo Abiodun, and the entire Abiodun family, as well as the people of Iperu Remo over this quantum loss.

“As an Iperu indigene myself, we are surely consoled that ‘Baba Teacher’ lived a very good life and left behind a very rich legacy of selfless service to humanity having being an accomplished teacher.”
