The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed an Ethiopian official to handle Nigeria’s second Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Guinea-Bissau.

The Djurtus will host the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Estádio Nacional 24 de Setembro in Bissau on Tuesday, September 29.

Both teams come into the game on the back of victories in their opening qualifiers against Madagascar and Tanzania.

Ahead of the game, CAF has appointed Tewodros Mitiku as the centre referee for the encounter.

The Ethiopian official will be assisted by Fasika Biru Fasika and Tigle Belachew as the first and second assistant referees, respectively.

Manuhe Woldetsadik completes the Ethiopian officiating team as the fourth official.

However, Senegalese official Yaya Balde has been appointed as the match commissioner, with Gambian FIFA referee Papa Bakary Gassama serving as the referee assessor.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 4:00 pm local time (5:00 pm Nigerian time).
