The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to depart Cairo, Egypt, for Fez, Morocco, ahead of the commencement of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations later today, Thursday, December 18.

The three-time African champions opened camp on Sunday, December 14, in Cairo.

All 28 invited players for the AFCON finals have arrived at the team’s camp following the arrival of Victor Osimhen on Wednesday night.

Eric Chelle’s side lost 2–1 to the Pharaohs of Egypt in their pre-AFCON friendly at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Super Eagles will continue their preparations in Fez ahead of their opening game against the Taifa Stars of Tanzania on December 23.

Nigeria will later face the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on December 27 before their final group game against the Cranes of Uganda on December 30.

All three of the Super Eagles’ group matches will be held at the Grand Stade de Fès.
