The sad death of Pastor Dare Adeboye, the son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adeboye has cast a dark cloud within the Christian community.
The 42-year-old pastor was described as one of the most influential youth Pastors in RCCG.
He reportedly died in his sleep Wednesday, May 5, 2021, in Eket, Akwa-Ibom where he was pastoring a church.
A source who confirmed his demise said: “He was not sick and did not complain of anything before the incident. Pastors in the church were summoned to pray for him, all to no avail."
Dare is commonly referred to as Pastor D.
Some of the many posts he held were: RCCG House of Praise Birmingham, United Kingdom; Senior Pastor, Kaduna — RCCG Kaduna 1 Provincial Youth Pastor & RCCG Region 8 Youth Pastor, according to The Nations.
As the news of his demise broke, Nigerians have thronged social media to share their thoughts and mourn with his family.

It's doing me to say something about Pastor Adeboye's son's death, but no. I just hope the family finds happiness again quickly. Dealing with death is hard.
