8 years is forever! – Aisha Yesufu mocks El-Rufai, Yahaya Bello

Socio-political advocate, Aisha Yesufu has taken to social media to ridicule former governor of Kaduna, Nasir El-Rufai and immediate past governor of Kogi state, Yahaya Bello following their current battle.

In a post shared on X page (formerly Twitter), Aisha Yesufu noted that politicians in Nigeria think eight years in power would last forever.

She wrote: “To Nigerian Politicians, 8 years is FOREVER!
Little do they know!
I laugh in ElRufai and Yahaya Bello.”

Her comment comes following the attempted arrest of Yahaya Bello by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

EFCC had charged Bello with alleged case of money laundering to the tune of N80 million and embezzlement of funds.

The anti-graft agency has hinted plans of involving the Nigerian Army in effecting the arrest of the former governor.

The EFCC on Thursday, April 18, 2024, have put Yahaya Bello on the watchlist in connection with fraud allegations.
