5 presidential aspirants named in Atiku's Presidential Campaign Council

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar has included key individuals that contested the party's presidential primaries in his Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) ahead of the elections in 2023.

Recall that Atiku announced the name of the Director General of his Presidential Campaign Council on Thursday, September 15.

Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwual, who swayed delegates in Atiku's favor after he stepped down was named Director General of the national campaign management committee and Akwa Ibom state Governor, Udom Emmanuel was named the chairman of its Presidential Campaign Council (PCC).

The others are Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, former Senate President, Bukola Saraki and Magazine Publisher, Dele Momodu.

Governors Bala Mohammed and Seyi Makinde of Bauchi and Oyo states as vice chairmen, north and south respectively.

This committee has four directorates headed by deputy directors General. They are: Sen. Liyel Imoke (Operations), Prof. Adewale Oladipo (Admin), Raymond Dokpesi (Technical and Systems) and Okwesileze Nwodo (Research and Strategy).
