350 Nigerian evacuees set to be airlifted from Egypt - NIDCOM

Report indicate that about 350 stranded Nigerians caught in the Sudan war have arrived at the Aswan Airport in Egypt.

According to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) in a statement released on Wednesday, May 3, these Nigerians will be airlifted to Nigeria by NAF C130 and Air Peace.

NIDCOM noted that 80 passengers will board the C130 while 274 passengers will be airlifted by Air Peace.

The Commission said that the citizens are expected to land in Nigeria at approximately six hours from the time of departure.

Also the parents of the stranded Nigerians are expected at Abuja airport alongside some government officials to receive them.
