The induction ceremony of the Management Team of the Tribute Concert and Awards 2024/All Yoruba Heroes Summit took place on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at the Sid Apartments (Sid Theatre) in Ghana's capital Accra.

It was a distinguished gathering which started with the arrival and registration of guests.

The special Guest Speaker in the person of Alhaji El-Aziz Fattau, Chairman of the Yoruba Community Ghana Restructuring Community delivered a speech that reflects the importance of recognizing and celebrating the achievements of Yoruba people everywhere, as well as the need to always strive to promote and showcase the beauty and richness of Yoruba culture and traditions to the world.

Members of the management team of Tribute Concert and Awards/All Yoruba heroes summit 2024 were inducted after the speech with an oath of indulgence and excellence.

Alhaji Sidiku Buhari in his congratulatory message to the inductees expressed his satisfaction and he implored them to deliver with much commitment so that the main event designed to come up in the year 2024 will also be a successful one.

The President of Yoruba Community Ghana, Alhaji Chief Tunde Azeez Yahya expressed his pleasure for a well-organized induction ceremony and also stated that the organizers of this event should ensure that they carry along all the Yorubas in Ghana irrespective of their state of origin back home or regions of resident here in Ghana.

Alhaji Abdul Rahman Gomda, the Chief News Editor at Daily Guide assured the gathering the will of the management team to deliver in accordance to the dictates of the job, to align with excellent performance.

Pastor Ishola Akintunde, the former ED at SUNU Assurances(Formally Equity Assurances) and presently the Group Managing Director of Covenant Group of Companies emphasized the importance to celebrate the accomplishments of our community members and to continue to uplift and supporting one another that when one of us succeeds, we all succeed.

Amb Oloye Oyeyemi Fatuyi, the President of Yoruba Community Greater Accra explained that Yoruba culture, tradition, and heritage are invaluable treasures that have been passed down to us from our ancestors that making use of these treasures can be a powerful tool for reclaiming our past and lost glory.

Madam Sardia Mould, the CEO of Savanah International Academy and African Global Radio stressed the need for the Yorubas not to forget those who welcomed them to this part of the world, that the Yorubas have a strong bond with the Gas and that whatever we do, it's important to carry them along and to look beyond the awards for what could be achieved as Yoruba people.

Alhaja Adisat Bello Giwa, the first vice chairperson gave the closing remarks, with words of encouragement, commitment and teamwork as necessary ingredients to record desired objectives. She also expressed her gratitude for the turnout and full participation on behalf of the Chairman planning committee Dr. Olaide Oluwamayowa Jose Alaaye, a Yoruba Community Leader in the Dome-Kwabenya constituency.

Alhaji Musa Baba the Asiwaju of Yoruba in Ghana closed the event with a prayer which reflects both Islamic, Christian and traditional modes of supplication.
Pictures were taken and refreshments were served.

The Tribute Concert and Awards(TC Awards) is an embodiment created by Olansile Abayomi a Musician/Full-Service Event, General entertainment and PR consultant to project the Yoruba community in Ghana by celebrating outstanding achievements and excellence by Yorubas(Ghanaian/Nigerian) and other citizens of the world who have contributed immensely and meaningfully to the growth of Yoruba community and the nation Ghana at large.

The 2024 program is planned to be a summit where Yorubas from all walks of life and from around the world will meet to discuss the socio-economic impact of Yoruba in the diaspora as it relates to the development of their host nations.

The idea behind the All Yoruba Heroes Summit of the Tribute Concert and Awards 2024 contains reaching out to more than 21 countries in the world where Yorubas have recorded remarkable achievements. Some of the Heroes will get awards and others will get citations at the end of the summit. It will involve a lot of corporate organizations and business personalities. It will also involve royal fathers, chiefs and other great sons and daughters of Yoruba around the world.

Among the few great personalities that were in attendance are Alhaji Prince Rashad Peregrino Brimah, the head of the Brimah family. Dr. Abdulai Oluwatoyin Peregrino-Brimah, an ophthalmologist. Her Honour Halimah El-Alawa Abdulbaasit, a circuit court judge. Alhaja Sherifaah Mahmah Dundu, elder sister to the former President of the Republic of Ghana and CEO of Providence Events and Recreation Centres. Elder Chief McFelix Modupe Alaye, the Bobasewa of Ooduwa kingdom Ghana. Chief Otunba Moses Oladele, Chief Akintola Bolanle, Chief Micheal Akintola, Chief Ayanniyi Rabiu and the National Secretary of Yoruba Community Ghana, Mr. Abdulrazaq Abubakar Oris who doubled as the Planning Committee Secretary of the Tribute Concert and Awards 2024/All Yoruba Heroes Summit.

Tribute Concert and Awards is planned to be held once every two years.
