240 fresh cases of coronavirus recorded in Nigeria

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC has recorded 240 new cases of coronavirus in Nigeria.

This was announced on Sunday, February 28, 2021.

Some states recorded to have new cases include, Anambra had 85 fresh cases while Lagos recorded 82 fresh cases. Other states with fresh cases include Osun-17, Ogun-10, Kwara-9, FCT-8, Kano-7, Abia-6, Borno-4, Edo-2, Bayelsa-2, Kaduna-2 and Rivers-1.

So far, Nigeria has a total of 155,657 confirmed cases. 133,768 patients have been successfully treated and discharged while 1,907 deaths have so far been recorded.
