The 2023 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will begin on Saturday, January 13.

West African giants, Ivory Coast, who are the host nation for the 2023 AFCON, will be opening the competition with their match against Guinea-Bissau.

The competition will take place from 13 January to 11 February, 2024.

Senegal are the defending champions after beating Egypt 4-2 on penalties in the 2021 AFCON final.
