Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Atiku Abubakar, has touted the All Progressives Congress (APC) as thieves, alleging that the ruling party rigged the 2023 elections.

According to Atiku, the APC are on the verge of a complete state capture after stealing power in 2023.

The former Vice President made this strong allegation in a video shared via his official X handle.

"We are competing with thieves," the ADC flagbearer said.

"They stole the election. Now they have stolen the economy. They have stolen everything."

The ADC flagbearer opined that subsidy removal had pushed Nigerians into poverty, questioning the Tinubu government's ability to protect the welfare of Nigerians.

On the question of subsidy, my position has not changed and will not change: I will restore it! A nation as blessed as ours has no business abandoning its citizens to hardship. Nigeria is rich enough to look after her own.
