Primate Elijah Ayodele has said that the probability of President Bola Tinubu suffering defeat in the 2027 election is real.

Ayodele, founder of the Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, spoke in a video shared on his church's official Facebook page, on Wednesday, August 6. The video was seen by Legit.ng

According to the cleric, Tinubu should not overrely on northerners.

To avoid a defeat in the 2027 election, Primate Ayodele asked the incumbent Nigerian leader to "change your strategy."

Hesaid:

“Somebody powerful is coming to unseat Tinubu. Tinubu must brace up. Northerners will not help you. They are not of your interest. Areas where you are supposed to work in the north, you have not gone there. You are only pacifying them. All the pleading you are doing won't help the situation. They are adamant.

"Change your strategy before it is too late. If you don't change your strategy, you will see that you make efforts, then that efforts will not give results."
