2023 Presidency: I am not campaigning for you nor against you' - Wike tells Tinubu

The Rivers state Governor, Nyesom Wike has declared that he is neither campaigning for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, nor is he campaigning against him ahead of the 2023 election.

Wike said this when he received Bola Tinubu, the flagbearer of the APC and some party members in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday, February 15.

In a video making rounds, Wike spoke about the recent crisis across the country and how some states have been marred with violence as a result of the scarcity of fuel and new naira notes.

According to Wike, he is not impressed at the way the president and his administration are carrying out the Naira redesign implementation.

He also expressed his disappointment at the leadership of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) following their failure to adhere to the Supreme Court's order on use of old naira notes.
