2023: Nigerians will be able to travel freely on their roads if Peter Obi is elected - Abara

The Director of Security, Labour Party, Col Leo Abara (rtd), has said Nigerians will be able to travel on their roads while farmers will be able to go back to their farms when Peter Obi is elected president

Abara made the comment in an interview on Channels Television on Wednesday, February 22.

He noted that Nigerians will feel safer under the new security architecture of a Peter Obi presidency.

"Within the first 100 days of Peter Obi's presidency, Nigerians will be able to travel freely on their roads and farmers can go into their farms freely. I am sure of that."

"First of all, he has identified what is wrong with the National security architecture. He has understood the various components of terrorists and he will be dealing with them. The whole security architecture"

He also noted that other security architectures like the Amotekun operate because the Nigeria system had failed.

“Before Peter Obi’s travels, we built solid security architecture during his campaign in the 36 States.

“Obi would change the security; the security architecture operated by the current administration is obsolete.

“Only Peter Obi has pledged to change the Nigerian Security Architecture; we are working on a new template, and as soon as he is elected, we will implement it.

“Police would clear every other security outfit for only the Nigeria Police Force to operate”, he stated.
