17-year-old college student abducted in Abuja

A male student of Federal Government College, Rubochi, in the Federal Capital Territory has been kidnapped.

The student identified as Gift Abiikor who is just 17 years of age, was abducted while he was sleeping around 1am in the residence of one Ahmed Adamu, who reported the incident to the police.

Confirming the incident, police spokesman, DSP Anjuguri Manzah, said, “According to Ahmed Adamu who reported the incident to the police, some armed men stormed his house and abducted one Gift Abiikor who was sleeping on the same bed with Ahmed Adamu’s children.”

The Federal Capital Territory police command ordered an investigation into the incident.
