16-year old boy's eyes plucked out by his 'employer' in Bauchi

A 16-year-old boy named Uzairu Salisu, had his eyes plucked out by his employer in the Dutsen Jira area of Yelwa area in Bauchi state.

A statement released on Thursday, June 23, by the spokesperson of the command, SP Ahmed Mohammed Wakili, the village head made the report to the police.

According to the victim, one Ibrahim of Rafin Zurfi lured him to the bush for a menial job on his farm. He said the man used a cable wire to strangulate the victim and remove his two eyes.

The police said the victim is currently receiving treatment at the Abubakar Tafawabalewa Teaching Hospital (ATBUTH).

He also mentioned that, attempts are been made to arrest the suspect.
