Some of the abductees were children and women, one of whom had a baby strapped to her back.

It was also gathered that four persons were shot and abandoned by the assailants.

A survivor, Mallam Yakubu Barauni, told journalists on Sunday, September 13, 2020 that he was shot in the legs.

“We were on our way to the farm when we were attacked by some bandits. They took away 16 people, four were shot, three taken to hospital in Kaduna town,” he stated.

Barauni added that the bandits were yet to contact the community.
