The 29-year-old has been in a rich vein of form since joining Bursaspor in the Turkish second-tier league.

The former Leicester City man has registered a staggering 11 goals and provided two assists in eight league appearances.

The Super Eagles striker has found the back of the net in every game since joining the Turkish club this summer.

He was chosen for the award during the beIN 1 Lig programme by presenter Turgay Keskin and commentator Tunç Kayacı.

Kayacı also named Bursaspor as the best team in the opening eight games of the league.

Iheanacho joined Bursaspor as a free agent in the summer after parting ways with Celtic in the Scottish league.

Iheanacho's staggering goal contributions have propelled his team to the top of the 1. Lig table with 19 points.
