Shan George, born on April 21, 1970, is a prominent Nigerian actress, singer, film producer, and director who has made significant contributions to the Nigerian entertainment industry. Hailing from Ediba, a town in Cross River State, Nigeria. She was born to an Igbo mother and a British- Father.

Shan attended Edabafa Secondary Commercial School, Ediba, Cross River, Nigeria. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at the University of Lagos and during her final year, she proceeded to produce her debut movie titled “All For Winnie”.

Shan George began her journey in the world of entertainment with a passion for storytelling and a desire to showcase the rich cultural tapestry of Nigeria. With her captivating performances and natural talent, She has become a household name in Nigeria and beyond. She has starred in numerous movies across various genres, showcasing her ability to portray diverse characters with authenticity and depth. Some of her notable films include "Outkast," "Welcome to Nollywood," and "Thorns of Rose."

In 2010, the multitalent Shan released her debut studio album titled Dance which got positive reviews from her fans. She presently has two children after being involved in several broken marriages. She is also the Founder/CEO of a tuition-free film school, Divine Shield Film Academy in Calabar, Nigeria.
