Nedu Wazobia, also known as Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, is a versatile Nigerian personality, excelling as an on-air personality, broadcast journalist, TV presenter, actor, comedian, and content creator. Renowned for his lively pidgin rendition of the daily news on the popular radio station Wazobia FM Lagos, Nedu has captured the hearts of many listeners with his unique style and wit.

Born on August 5, 1982, in Kaduna State, Nigeria, Nedu pursued his education in accounting at Madonna University, Elele Okija, Anambra State. Following his graduation, he embarked on his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Jigawa, where he honed his skills as an on-air personality at a local radio station. Subsequently, he ventured to Abuja, where he briefly worked as a site manager before relocating to Lagos to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a broadcaster and entertainer.

Nedu is celebrated for his diverse alter-ego personalities, including Sister Nkechi, Alhaji Musa, EndTime Landlord, and Officer Jato, each adding a unique flavor to his performances. With a substantial following of over 1.3 million people on Instagram, Nedu has leveraged his influence to become a sought-after brand ambassador for popular companies such as MTN, Fidelity Bank, Quickteller, and Sun Lottery. However, his personal life came under public scrutiny following allegations of domestic violence made by his wife, Uzoamaka Ohiri, in September 2023. Nedu responded to these accusations, denying any physical violence and revealing marital issues, including infidelity, which led to a paternity test revealing that their first son is not biologically his. He supported his claims with evidence from a DNA test conducted by a forensic laboratory in Toronto, Canada.
