Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, is a seasoned broadcaster, On-Air Personality (OAP), and a figure often at the center of controversy. Born on May 6, 1976, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, to a Nigerian father and Romanian mother, Daddy Freeze hails from Oyan Town, Odo Otin, Osun State. Despite his international roots, he spent his formative years in Ibadan, Nigeria, attending the International School Ibadan and obtaining a degree in sociology from the prestigious University of Ibadan.

Daddy Freeze embarked on his radio journey in 1996, joining the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) in Ibadan, where he contributed as a correspondent on the World Chat Show. In 2001, he transitioned to Cool FM Lagos, where his career soared as a senior broadcaster and production officer.
