With Victor Osimhen set to leave the club in the summer, Napoli has started their hunt for a suitable replacement for the club's top scorer.
Osimhen, 25, has been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea and Arsenal rumoured as potential destinations.
Other reports have linked the reigning African Footballer of the Year with a move to Paris Saint-Germain as potential replacement to Frenchman Kylian Mbappe who recently announced that he will be leaving PSG at the end of the season.
French media publication, L'Equipe reports that Napoli have set their sight on Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta as replacement for Osimhen.

The 26-year-old Frenchman has had a remarkable campaign with the Eagles this season.
Mateta has registered 16 goals and 4 assists in 38 appearances across all competitions for Oliver Glasner's side.
The former Mainz striker has two years left on his contract with the Selhurst Park outfit and he has a market value of €10.00m as per Transfermarkt.
