Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers scored the winner as Glasgow Rangers beat St. Mirren 2-1 in the Scottish League on Sunday, April 28.
The 29-year-old scored with about quarter of an hour left to play as the Gers survived another scare to their title ambitions.
It was the former Cremonese man's 130th goal of his club career in 328 games.
The Super Eagles striker has also netted 20 goals across all competitions.
this season for the Scottish giants.
Dessers' winning goal ensured that the Gers avoided going four league games without a win for the first time since February 2017. It also keeps the Ibrox side on the hunt for a domestic treble after last weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-finals win over Hearts.
Speaking in a post-match interview, the Dutch-born Nigerian said:
“20 goals is a beautiful number, but I don’t want to stop there – I want to keep going and I want more.
“Not a lot of Rangers strikers got there in the last few years, so I think it is a nice milestone for me.
“To score a winner in a game like that feels good. There is no room for errors now so we are very happy we got the win.”
