In a post uploaded to social media, a man by the name of Skhuni Sbu EMahhashini spoke about a good Samaritan named Rasta.
Skhuni spoke about travelling from Gauteng to KwaZulu-Natal when he left his phone in the taxi.
In a wonderful turn of events, Rasta kept Skhuni's cellphone and returned it to him. They met again when travelling back to Gauteng. The post was uploaded last night and has since gained over 1,000 reactions.
This is what Skhuni wrote: "This guy Rasta we were together in the tax travelling to KZN. I was sitting at the back. I left my cellphone ... but Rasta kept it until I called and we made an arrangement. I have it back from him, thanks my brother," Skhuni posted.
South African Facebook users were extremely impressed with the good deed and took to the comments section to express this.
Fikile Hlatshwayo wrote: "Thank you to Rasta, we need more people like him in this country."
Mlungisi Mpendulo Nzuza said: "Wow! That's awesome! God bless Rasta."
Hilda Polley commented: "God bless this earth angel."
Mukundi Rambau Tshego added: "Keep up the good work!"
Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a woman in Enugu state, Josephine Nchetaka Chukujama Eze, showed the true meaning of honesty as she returned almost N14 million that was mistakenly paid into her account.
Her husband, a journalist, and lawyer, Chukujama Eze, disclosed it to News Express as he praised his wife for the virtue she exhibited.
In a letter he addressed to the media, he said that he decided to celebrate her not because it is her birthday, but because she did a thing that made him very proud of her.
The husband said that the event happened on Monday, August 3, when Josephine was in a salon and her phone rang with alerts.
The mother of three did not check her phone until later. She had to call her husband immediately after she saw the N13,946,400.
