Popular gospel singer Moses Bliss was extremely honoured to meet and perform for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on their first trip to Nigeria.
The encounter became even more memorable when the singer posted on social media that Meghan had told him how much she enjoyed his music.
The couple was visiting Nigeria and engaging in a number of humanitarian and charitable endeavours when they had this meeting.
Sharing his encounter with them on his Instagram page, Moses Bliss wrote: βThe joy of meeting and singing for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the Duke & Duchess of Sussex @sussexroyal today on their inaugural visit to Nigeria and hear Meghan express her appreciation for my music is a moment I will forever cherish.
"Thank you @thedelborough for having me.
Thank you sir @stanleyuzochukwu for the opportunity to be a part of the Royal's visit to Nigeria Iβm grateful."
The military of the West African country invited the couple, who were treated to various dance performances.
The first of these took place at the Lagos airport, where a troupe's impressive acrobatics had the audience cheering and smiling. One of the dancers, who appeared to be younger than five years old, saluted Harry while standing erect and high in the air.
According to sources, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived in Nigeria on Friday, May 10, 2024, and would spend three days there on a private visit. During their stay, they met with injured troops and visited local organizations.
During a press conference on Thursday, Air Vice-Marshal Abidemi Marquis, director of sports for the Nigerian Defence Headquarters, stated that the Sussexes visited the country since it is now "part of the Invictus community."
